Although she was born in Colombia, the captivating Karina Arroyave moved to NYC as a kid. Their loss, our gain. Ultimately, she graduated from the famous LaGuardia High School of Music and the Arts in New York, where she honed her craft and blossomed into the dark beauty she is today. After a stint on Broadway, Karina left the footlights for the bright lights of Hollywood but the head turner was sidetracked by a long starring run as Bianca Marquez on the hit soap As the World Turns, which filmed in New York. Karina popped up in all sorts of small roles in big movies, like playing troubled students Maria and Josy in the very similar flicks Lean on Me (1989) and Dangerous Minds (1995). After she landed guest spots on various TV shows such as NYPD Blue, Law & Order, and Touched by an Angel, it was her role as CTU Los Angeles programmer Jamey Farrell on Fox’s smash 24 that made Karina a household name. As for being a Skin Central name, it was her scene in the Samuel L. Jackson starring crime drama One Eight Seven (1997), which we’d watch 24/7, that had her name on just the tip of our tongue. At one point, she’s buck-ass naked on a couch, which for all you couch potatoes is fantasy made flesh. Karina doesn’t show more than a side of yummy bum and her meaty breasts, but there’s another scene where a guy interrupts her getting dressed and we see a bit of bra buster while she’s putting her top back on. If you don’t know Karina from 24, you probably got sent here by her work as ICE detainee Karla Cordova in Orange is the New Black. While the show had plenty of girl on girl and all sorts of looks at the felons’ melons, Karina didn’t do any nudity. These days Karina can be seen on The Blacklist, but even if she never does another skin scene, this Latinx minx will always be on our whack list!
